Collective thoughts around ghosts from the past that haunt us from the future culminate in a performative evening. Forgetting, remembering and at the same time imagining a future often leaves us in uncertainty. The performance illustrates not a complete genealogy of hope and fear but rather tries to capture a moment of being in time that is in crisis. Archives and collections such as the one of the Volkskundemuseum, the internet and of popular culture may give answers.

The enactment of one‘s own possible future is explored through votive objects, crypto currencies and constructing rituals.  

This project was developed during a residency at Volkskundemuseum of the Artistic Strategies Department (Die Angewandte) with Bouchra Khalili and Angelo Plessas.
